I am a self-taught artist who specializes in creating Sporting Art. I grew up hunting, fishing and exploring the fields, rivers and streams of Northeast Iowa. I enjoy hunting upland birds and waterfowl as well as whitetail deer. How do you live in Iowa and not hunt deer in one form or another? I will also take to the turkey woods in the Spring. I also enjoy fishing the trout streams in NE Iowa.

I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with my wife and our dogs Hank (yellow labrador and constant companion) Sophie (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). You will see them in some of my creations.

I believe you do your best work in creating what you know and love. That is why most of my pieces will be Sporting Art, including wildlife and hunting dogs. I will offer my original works for purchase as well as commissioned pieces.

This is a new journey for me since retiring from the Iowa Department of Corrections in 2020 and I hope you’ll join me.
